This was the first editorial in a series of 3 productions we did with the same team. It all started when Isabella asked me if I would be interested in creating something new that would make sense to be in both our portfolios, and during our discussions we realised we were too excited about all the ideas and agreed to go forward with 3 of them. I reached out to Marisa and Silvia asking them if they would be willing to work with us on these projects, and was pleased to hear that they were both very enthusiastic about the ideas as well.
To make the most of the time, we prepared everything in the 2 previous weeks and decided to do the 3 editorials in 2 days. Everything went great! Naturally, with a few hiccups in between, but we were still able to stick to the plan and everything worked out great.
REBLOOMING
Who doesn't want to be reborn in spring?
After tough days locked up inside, we no longer care if flowers in the spring are cliche, we just want the gentle breeze upon our skins and the positivity of infinite colours.
During the creation of the concepts, I couldn't stop thinking about the moment of uncertainty we were experiencing with the pandemic situation. For the artistic area, everything was still at a very low point and most of the professionals had no guarantees. So I decided to take my top 3 feelings at the moment and turn them into editorial concepts.
Reblooming - Longing for things to change for the better with the arrival of Spring.
Calm & Drama - Mix of emotions and thoughts, positivity mixed with being apathetic.
Exciting Future - Hope that everything will be alright in the end and that everything that has been experienced will make society grow.
